Army, Navy & Air Force Veterans in Canada
ANAVETS is comprised of a Dominion Command, which is located in Ottawa where the Headquarters is situated, and seven provincial commands. Currently the Association has units in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, and Nova Scotia as well as a unit in Woodstock N.B. and a unit in the United States (ANAVICUS), which is part of the American Legion. Ladies’ Auxiliaries may be found at some units.
Quebec Mounted Police Members’ Association Foundation
For over 30 years the Quebec Mounted Police Members’ Association Foundation has been defending the rights of C Division’s RCMP members, as well as those of francophone officers across Canada. The Quebec Mounted Police Members’ Association has been publishing Action magazine for nearly 20 years, and it continues to be a reference for all news related to RCMP officers in Quebec.
Our goal is to empower and inform our members, while also supporting social, community and preventive programs for youth in trouble, as well as to support cultural and native communities through our foundation’s donations.
Youth Centres Canada
Youth Centres Canada works to encourage, support, and provide information and training to youth and youth groups in rural areas, towns and small cities in Canada. Youth Centres Canada recognizes youth as citizens with rights, responsibilities, able to make contributions through active community involvement, participation, partnerships, and meaningful decision-making that affects their lives.
Canadian Fallen
The Canadian Fallen is a Virtual Component of the National Wall of Remembrance in Kingston, Ontario Canada.
It is built on the foundation of creating a single place of remembrance for all of Canada's fallen soldiers. From the War of 1812 though Afghanistan, it celebrates the men and women who fell while serving and protecting this great country.
Police Advocates Journal
The POLICE ADVOCATES JOURNAL’s mandate is to “inform and empower”. Frederic Serre, Managing Editor, has been associated with Police Organizations and their magazines for some twenty plus years. Always striving to present articles that are informative and insightful, the Police Advocates Journal reaches Canadians from coast to coast.
National Wall of Remembrance Association
This project will create a single place of remembrance for all of Canada’s fallen heroes - a place that families, friends and the general public can visit and remember. It will incorporate the names of the Canadian fallen in all conflicts of record. It's a Wall of Remembrance for both the living and the dead, a unique project by veterans and other proud Canadians.
Canadian Fallen Firefighters Foundation
The Canadian Fallen Firefighters Foundation was created to HONOUR and REMEMBER firefighters who have been killed in the line of duty and to SUPPORT their families. After years of fundraising a memorial was built on Lebreton Flats in Ottawa, Ontario.
Each September they organize and finance the Memorial weekend. They also award Scholarships and Bursaries to the children and spouses of Fallen Firefighters recognized by the Foundation.
